For me the best festivity of the whole year is the new year. This festivity is at normal celebrated all over the world at the first of january, and in every country change the way how it is celebrated. In Chile we celebrate this festivity by having a especial dinner with the family and friends, and then, when the clock is close to mark the first hour of the new year, everyones goes to the places in where they can watch better the fireworks. For us, like in almost all the countries, this festivity has a very important symbolism, because it inaugarete a new period in wich everything begins again.
In my case, I traditionally celebrate this festivity in the beautiful city of Valparaiso. I normally go there with friends, and we spend all the day on the beach, waiting for the great moment. Then, when the sun comes down, we go to the "Paseo Yuguslavo" and begin to drink with the other people of the place. After the fireworks, the place (that stands over a hill) is full of people, and everybody wants to hug each other, in a wonderful euphoric atmosphere. Downstairs, in the "Plaza Sotomayor" the party starts with cumjbia style music and everyone dance and dance for the whole night. Despite the tremendous headache of the next day, the new year is the most fantastic festivity of the whole world.

My favourite music band
Ok, now I have a little problem with this work, because it's very difficult to me to choose only one group of the huge list of great musicians that I have had the privilege of listened to along my life. But anyways, I decided to choose The Doors because they are one of my favourites ones and also they have a very interesting story as a band.
Well, The Doors began with the meeting of Jim Morrison (the singer) and Ray Manzareck (the pianist) on the beach of Los Angeles, in a sunny day of the summerof 1969, when they got the great idea of transform de lirics of Jim's poetry in songs. After that, they get together with Roby Krieger (the guitarist) and the drummer, who's lastname was Densmore, and started doing music. Two years later they become famous all over the world, and they still being listen to all over the world.
The reason of their fame is well known for their followers, because everyone that likes The Doors is agree with the idea that the whole magic of this band resides in their special kind of rock, which is a very psicodhelic and crazy rithm mix with deep lirics. Also is very important to say, that part of their fame came from the crazy dances that Jim Morrison used to play over the stage, just like an indian shaman.
The Doors had made many albums during his life as Rockband, but than they finished because the dead of the main caracter, Jim Morrison, who dies of a overdosis.
Anyways, the real fan's don't forget the great songs and performances of this amazing band, thatsway The Doors still being hear everyday for tousands of millions people all over the world.
